Here is some little known trivia about Chuck Connors

According to one of Chuck's sons, he used to leave the house at 5am and got home around 10pm while doing the show.

Chuck Connors was often seen riding his English bicycle while singing on the set of the show.

How Much Money?

One of Chuck Connors friends told me that he was paid $150,000 per year to play the role of Lucas McCain. Johnny Crawford reportedly was paid $20,000 per year to play the role of Mark McCain.

After the initial five year run of the T.V. series "The Rifleman", the cast signed up to do another five year run in one hour color episodes, everyone except Chuck Connors who was persuaded by his wife to quit the show and find more movie roles.

The next T.V. series for Chuck Connors was a short lived two year run called "Branded".
 
 
Chuck Connors was married three times. He had four boy's by his first wife.
 
 
When asked the question of which he enjoyed most, baseball or acting, Chuck said with no hesitation, "baseball".
 
A tall man, Chuck Connors claimed his actual hieght was 6' 5"and 5/8ths.
